On this, a very lovely day, We come to thank Thee, Lord; It is a day of hope and joy. So let it be adored. On this, a very lovely day, When all around is peace, We look to Thee, our blessed Lord, To grant us Thy release. On this, a very lovely day, We lift with care each heart, And call on God for all His love And vow to do our part!
